By setting JSELECT to 1, you can use Multi-ICE for downloading and

debugging the software, and MasterBlaster/ByteBlasterMV for

downloading and debugging the hardware. This is shown in Figure 12.

 To use SignalTAP to debug the device, JSELECT must be set to 1.

Using MasterBlaster/ByteBlasterMV Cable to Program the EPC2 Devices

The EPC2 devices can be programmed using the Quartus II software,

version 1.1, or higher, using either the MasterBlaster or ByteBlasterMV

download cable.

Figure 13 on page 44 shows how the MasterBlaster, ByteBlasterMV, and

Multi-ICE cables are connected.
