Bluetooth™ Installation Guide
2. Set up of the Bluetooth™ connection to the instrument
Insert the Bluetooth™ adapter into a free USB port
of the PC.
Switch on the instrument and if needed, activate
the Bluetooth™ function of the unit (for details
refer to the instrument manual).
Right click on the Bluetooth™ symbol in the task
bar of the computer or go to the Programs folder
of the “Start“ menu, and select “Bluetooth™ -
Settings“.
Activate “New Connection“, select “Express
mode“ and follow the instructions on the screen.
The Bluetooth™ manager starts to scan for
Bluetooth™ devices.
A dialog box appears which lists all available
devices.The measuring unit is identied by its
name and serial number. These data can be
veried on the instrument label. Highlight the
desired instrument and continue with “Next“.
Passkey (PIN)
If a box appears asking for the Bluetooth™
Passkey (PIN), enter “0000“ for the instrument and
conrm with “OK“.
The Bluetooth™ connection will be completed
and an information about the used COM port is
displayed.
Finally, the window “Bluetooth™ Settings“
appears with an icon included for the new
instrument, the connection will be ready to use.
