11 CONFIGURATION
11.6 Safety factors
This page allows the safety heights and behaviour in abort mode to be defined.
Arrival height The height above terrain that the glider should arrive at for a safe landing.
Breakoff height This is the height above terrain, below which the pilot should abort the task and
prepare for an outlanding.
Terrain height The height above terrain that the glider must clear during final glide.
Abort use current Mc When enabled, the current MacCready setting is used for determining
arrival altitude during task abort mode.
Safety Mc The MacCready setting used in task abort mode and for determining arrival altitude
at airfields.
