The following guidelines will ensure a smooth and accurate setup procedure. Have the
MultEQ CD, microphone and MultEQ LED available and take a note of the conditions
below as they are needed in the next section.
1. The PXE-H660 has the ability to drive a full-range or two-way front speaker output
system conguration. In the case of a two-way system (bi-amping a set of compo-
nents), make sure the tweeter amplier channels go to the L1/R1 RCA outputs and
the midrange amplier channels go to the L2/R2 RCA outputs. At this time, set the
crossover point for the high-pass speakers. Use the manufacturer recommended
tweeter high-pass crossover frequency point (5 kHz by default). The mid-bass low-
pass cut-off is determined by tweeter high-pass. If there is a subwoofer in the system,
the low pass cut-off will be set automatically by MultEQ. In the case of a full-range
system, the front speaker amplier channels must connect to the FRONT L2/R2
outputs only.
