Detour
You can calculate a new route from your current position around an
approaching detour on the current route. If there is a construction site
ahead, for example, search for a detour by estimating the distance from
your current position to the site.
1 Touch [Detour] on the Edit route screen.
The system begins calculating a new route.
• Refer to “Displaying the Edit Route Screen” (page 46) on
how to display the Edit route screen.
• The confirmation message may appear depending on
the route and search conditions. Touch [OK].
• You can search for a detour only when your are on a route.
Reroute
When you are driving to the destination following Route Guidance, if
you deviate from the route, the system will automatically calculate a
new route.
If the system does not calculate a new route automatically, perform the
following operations.
1 Touch [Reroute] on the Edit route screen.
The system begins calculating a new route.
• Refer to “Displaying the Edit Route Screen” (page 46) on
how to display the Edit route screen.
• The confirmation message may appear depending on
the route and search conditions. Touch [OK].
Cancel Route
This section explains how to delete a destination you have previously
set. Any waypoints for that destination will also be deleted.
1 Press <MENU>.
The NAVIGATION menu screen is displayed.
2 Touch [Cancel route].
The confirmation dialog screen appears.
3 Touch [Yes].
The destination is deleted and the screen returns to the
current vehicle position. If a waypoint existed, then both the
destination and the waypoint are deleted.
