Finding facilities in the vicinity of the
specified location by Scrolling the
Displayed Map
You can scroll a map and specify a location to search for facilities in the
vicinity of the location. To search for facilities in the vicinity of the
current position, destination or route, see “Finding the Nearest Points of
Interest (POI)” (page 34).
1 Touch the Map Display.
The point setting menu is displayed.
2 Touch [ ].
The Select category screen is displayed.
3 Touch the desired category.
• When “All categories” is selected, all categories are
displayed in the list. Touch the desired category.
The Select sub category screen appears.
4 Touch the desired subcategory.
The Select Points of Interest screen appears.
5 Touch the desired POI.
The Confirm destination screen appears.
6 Touch [OK].
The system will begin calculating the route.

Finding a Destination by POI icon
You can set the destination by touching the POI Icon on the map.
1 Touch the POI icon on the map.
The selected POI is highlighted.
2 Touch [View icons].
The Select POI screen appears.
3 Touch the desired POI.
• You can arrange the POI list by alphabetical order of the
address, or by distance. Touch [Alphabet] or [Distance].
The Confirm destination screen appears.
4 Touch [OK].
The system will begin calculating the route.

page 39.
• [View icons] is touchable on the detailed map with a scale of 200 m
(200 yards) or less.
