Finding a Point of Interest (POI)
If you know the name of the desired point of interest (POI), you can
easily display that point of interest on the map by just inputting its
name.

Touch [POI search] on the Destination screen.
The POI (Points of Interest) search screen is displayed.
• Refer to “Displaying the Destination Menu Screen”
(page 30) on how to display the Destination Screen.

There are three ways to search for your desired POI.
• You can also search POI in combination with POI name,
category and city name.
• For how to input characters, see “Using the On-Screen Keyboard”
(page 21).
• When 1 character/numeral is input, the candidates for the next
character/numeral are narrowed down (others are shaded).
• If your destination is located in another country than the currently
selected one, be sure to change the country of search. (See page 30)
By city name:
1 Touch [City], and then input the city (locality)
name.
• You can touch [List] to display the candidate list.
Touch [City list] to display the candidate list of the city
name. Touch [Last 5 cities] to display the search history
up to 5 cities. Touch the desired city name.
By name:
1 Touch [Name], and then input the POI name.
By category:
1 Touch [Category].
2 The category selection menu appears. Touch the
desired category.
• When “All categories” is selected, all categories are
displayed in the list. Touch the desired category.
• If the category is not selected, any or all categories can
be set.

Touch [OK].
The searched POIs are displayed in the list.
• You can search by Locality name, and the system
searches every POI in the city.

Touch the desired POI.
The Confirm destination screen appears.
• If more than one POI is registered, the list screen is
displayed. If you select the desired POI from the list, the
Confirm destination screen is displayed.

Touch [OK].
The system will begin calculating the route.
