You can delete POI warning data from the system.
Setting item: Delete POI warning data
1 Touch [ ].
The confirmation dialog screen appears.
2 Touch [Yes].
The POI warning data is deleted from the system.
• During deletion, keep the system turned on and do not
perform any operations.
3 After deleting is completed, the system returns to
the previous screen.
You can set whether or not to display POI warning data icons.
Setting item: POI warning icon
Setting contents: Show (Initial setting) / Hide
Show: POI warning data icons are displayed on the map.
Hide: POI warning data icons are not displayed on the
map.
You can set whether or not to sound the alarm when a POI warning is
approaching.
Setting item: POI warning guidance
Setting contents: On (Initial setting) / Off
On: When you are approaching a POI warning, the system
sounds the alarm.
Off: When you are approaching a POI warning, the system
does not sound the alarm.
You can copy up to 40,000 locations stored in a USB memory to the SD
memory card of the system.
Setting item: Update custom POI data
1 Touch [Update].
The confirmation dialog screen appears.
2 Touch [Yes].
Custom POI data is copied from the USB memory to the
system.
• During data updating, keep the system turned on and do
not perform any operations.
3 After updating is completed, the system returns to
the previous screen.
• Supported format: KML format, Ver.2.2, KMZ
• You can store up to 49 icons for custom POI data.
Icon format: BMP
size: 21×18 pixels
Bit depth: 8/24/32 bit
• If updating the icon data is not possible, the icon is displayed.
• Icon data save method: A KMZ file and BMP file of the same file
name are stored in the same folder. KML files are compressed to
KMZ (zipped) file.
• During data update, keep the system turned on and do not perform
any operations.
• Updatable items are the POI by names, phone number, addresses,
latitude/longitude and category.
• If the category is not registered in a KML file, the KML file is updated
by its file name, not by the category name.
• You can search custom POI data by category, if categories are
registered in KML files.
