You can initialize all data such as marked positions, setting item values,

etc., to restore the factory settings. Remove the DVD/CD disc, etc.,

from the system before operation.

Setting item: Restore factory setting

Touch [Reset].

After the confirmation message appears, touch

[Yes].

The system starts is rebooted. After the reboot, initialize

completes.

• Note the following until the mode screen (map screen, radio screen,

etc.) is displayed after the reboot.

Do not turn on/off the power. / Do not change the ignition key

position.

• The map database is not deleted even if you initialize the system.

• All POI warning data are deleted by initialising. After initialising,

update the data again.

• All custom POI data are deleted by initialising. Before initialising,

make a backup copy to USB memory.

Restore default setting

[Restore default settings] is selected on the General setup menu in step

4. See “General Setup Operation” (page 91).

You can initialize all setting item values of the system you have set.
