In the Mode 3 (Cinema), the monitor displays a
normal picture by stretching out the picture
horizontally and vertically. This mode is good for
displaying a cinema type picture with the
proportion of 16 to 9.
In the Mode 4 (Normal), the monitor displays
normal picture at the centre of the screen with a
vertical black belt at each side.

Set SPE.ANA to ON to select the SPE.ANA
display (refer to “Displaying Spectrum
Analyzer” on page 43).
Press TITLE
to select the desired SPE.ANA
mode from 1 through 6 and SCAN.

The source, disc number, elapsed time, etc.,
are displayed.
NOTES
• When AUX IN (AUX1, AUX2, AUX3) and NAV.IN are
set to ON, the AUX (AUX1, AUX2) and NAV. mode is
displayed (refer to "Setting the External Input" on
page 42).
• To switch the sound source, press SOURCE/PWR
during SIMUL. If the picture and the sound are from
the same source, the SIMUL function is not cancelled.
2 Press and hold V.SEL for at least 2 seconds to
cancel the SIMUL function.
Switching Display Mode
1 Press and hold FUNC for at least 2 seconds in
the AUX mode.
Each press changes the display mode as
follows:
In the Mode 1 (Wide), the monitor displays a
normal picture wider to fit in the wide-screen
monitor by evenly stretching out the picture
horizontally.
In the Mode 2 (Zoom), the monitor displays a
normal picture wider to fit in the wide-screen
monitor by unevenly stretching out. The centre
portion of the picture is stretched out only slightly
in order to make the important centre portion of
the picture look natural.
