Radio Setup
[Radio] is selected on the Sources Setup Menu screen in step 1. See
“Sources Setup” (page 40).
You can set up the items related to the radio reception sensitivity, etc.

When Off is selected, the unit automatically keeps receiving the local
RDS station.

PTY31 (Emergency Broadcast) reception can be set to On/Off.

On (Initial setting) / Off
• The unit automatically gives priority to an emergency broadcast
whenever it begins, and interrupts the programme you are currently
listening to when PTY31 is set to “On”.
• The unit will show “Alarm” in the display during PTY31 reception.
• This setting works with the Alarm (Emergency Broadcast) of DAB.
This unit can set your preferred tone quality for FM radio source.

Normal (Initial setting) / HiFi / Stable
• Noise may be more noticeable when HiFi is set, depending on the
reception status. In this case, the Normal setting is recommended.
