Adjusting Source Signal Levels
If the difference in volume level between the CD and FM radio is
too great, adjust the FM signal level as follows.
Setting item: FM Level
Setting content: Low / High
PI Seek Setting
Setting item: PI Seek
Setting content: OFF / Auto
Receiving RDS Regional (Local) Stations
When OFF is selected, the unit automatically keeps receiving the
related local RDS station.
Setting item: RDS Regional
Setting content: OFF / ON
Switching the Display Language of PTY (Programme Type)
You can select one of the patterns of the display languages.
Setting item: PTY Language
Setting content: GB / NL / F / D / I / E
Setting PTY31 (Emergency Broadcast) Reception
PTY31 (Emergency Broadcast) reception can be set to ON/OFF.
Setting item: PTY31
Setting content: OFF / ON
• The unit automatically gives priority to an Emergency Broadcast
whenever it begins, and interrupts the programme you are currently
listening to when PTY31 is set to ON.
• The unit will show “Alarm” in the display during PTY31 reception.
Setting the TUNER (FM) tone quality (Tuner Condition)
This unit can set your preferred tone quality for FM radio source.
Setting item: Tuner Condition
Setting contents: Normal / HiFi / Stable
• Noise may be more noticeable when HiFi is set, depending on the
reception status. In this case, the Normal setting is recommended.
Display Setup Operation

Touch [ ] on the main screen.
The SETUP selection screen is displayed.

Touch the title bar of Display Setup.
The Display Setup screen appears.

Touch [ ] or [ ] etc., of the desired item to change
its setting.

These functions are adjustable while driving.

When the current source is iPod Audio or USB Audio, you can not
adjust this setting.

Touch [ ] to return to the previous screen.
• Touching [Exit] will turn off the Display Setup screen, and return to
previous main screen.
• Immediately after changing the settings of Display Mode (While the
system is writing data automatically) do not turn the ignition key
(engine key) to OFF.
Otherwise, the settings may not be changed.
Adjust the monitor’s angle (between 40 and 105 degrees) for optimum
visibility.
Setting item: Tilt
Setting range: 10 adjustable angles are available.
• If the monitor touches an obstacle, remove the obstacle.
• The screen colour will vary when viewed at certain angles. Adjust the
screen angle for the best viewing position.
• If the voltage of the vehicle’s battery power is low, the screen may
blink when the screen angle is changed. This is not a malfunction.

HiFi: High-quality setting
Stable: Control noise
Display Setup
The Parking Brake must be engaged to access the Display mode
screen. Attempting to access this screen while driving will display
the warning-Can’t operate while driving.
The following steps 1 to 4 are common operations to each
“Setting item” of Display Setup. Refer to each section for
details.
