Tuning to Stored Ensemble
After presetting the ensembles (page 30), up to 12 ensembles can be
stored for each band, and listed. By this operation, you can switch to the
default service after selecting the desired ensembles from the list of
stored ensembles.
1 Touch [ (Search)] of Bottom banner.
The ensembles list screen is displayed.
If [ (Search)] is not displayed, touch [<<] in the bottom
banner to display [ (Search)].
2 Select the desired ensembles.
A service list of selected ensembles is displayed.
3 Select the desired service.
The selected service is received.
Tuning to Preset Service
You can tune in the preset stations in memory on either band using its
preset number.
1 Touch [Band] of Bottom banner repeatedly until the
desired band is displayed.
2 Touch any one of the preset buttons that has a
service stored to it.
The preset service is received.
Service Search Function
You can search for a service in the current ensemble.
1 Touch [Service List] of Bottom banner.
The Select service list screen is displayed.
If [Service List] is not displayed, touch [<<] in the bottom
banner to display [Service List].
2 Touch the desired service.
The selected service is received.
Receiving Traffic Information
Whenever the Traffic Information broadcasts, it will interrupt the
programme you are currently listening to.
Touch [TA] of Bottom banner to activate the Traffic
Information mode.
The “TA” indicator appears in the display.
• This setting relates to the Traffic Information function of RDS.
PTY (Programme Type) Search Function
You can search for a service in the current ensemble by its programme
type.
1 Touch [PTY Search] of Bottom banner.
The Select PTY list screen is displayed.
If [PTY Search] is not displayed, touch [<<] in the bottom
banner to display [PTY Search].
2 Touch the selected programme type to start
searching for a station in the type.
If no PTY station is found, “NO PTY.” will be displayed.
Priority News
This function gives priority to the News programme. Whenever the
News programme broadcasts, it will interrupt the programme you are
currently listening to.
Touch [NEWS] of Bottom banner to activate the
PRIORITY NEWS mode.
The “NEWS” indicator appears in the display.
• This setting relates to the Priority News function of RDS.
