Band display
Displays the DAB text
Preset button
SEEK mode
Confirm the type of DAB antenna (sold separately) before using the
DAB/DAB+/DMB function. If an active antenna that needs power
supply from this unit is used, set DAB Antenna Power to On; if a
passive antenna that does not need power supply from this unit is
used, make sure to set DAB Antenna Power to Off, otherwise, a
malfunction may occur. Refer to “Setting the DAB Antenna ON/
OFF” (page 55).
When FM Linking is set to On, if the digital signal is weak, this unit
will switch to receive the analog FM radio signal automatically. For
details, refer to “Setting the FM Linking ON/OFF (Service
Following)” (page 55).
This product does only support the “Receiver Profile 1 - Standard
Audio Receiver” according to the official classification of
WorldDMB Forum.
Listening to DAB/DAB+/DMB

Press the (AUDIO) button.

Touch [DAB] of Top banner.
The DAB mode is activated and the display changes to the
DAB mode screen.
The display content varies depending on the last band selected.
([DAB1], etc.)

Touch [Band] of Bottom banner to select the
desired radio band.
Each touch changes the bands as follows:

Touch [TUNE] to select the tuning mode.
There are three modes you can select for auto tuning, Service
and Ensemble:
- Service (Service Up/Down) mode:
Service of the currently received ensemble will be tuned in.
- Ensemble Seek mode:
Receivable ensembles will be tuned in automatically.
- Ensemble Manual mode:
Each ensemble is tuned in one step at a time manually.

Touch [] / [], [] / [] or [] / [] to
change the Service or Ensemble up or down
respectively.
Touch and hold to change the Service or Ensemble
continuously.
Presetting Search Manually

Select the band and ensemble, and then tune in a
desired service you wish to store in the preset
memory.

Touch and hold any one of the preset buttons for at
least 2 seconds.
The selected station is stored.
The display shows the band, service label or channel
number memorized.

Repeat the procedure to store up to 5 other stations
onto the same band.
To use this procedure for other bands, simply select the
desired band and repeat the procedure.
A total of 18 services can be stored in the preset memory (6 services
for each band; DAB1, DAB2 and DAB3).
If you store a service in a preset memory which already has a service,
the current service will be cleared and replaced with the new service.
Presetting Ensemble/Service
Automatically
After selecting the desired band, touch [A.Memo] of
Bottom banner.
The tuner will automatically seek and store ensembles. And the
default service of ensemble 1 to 6 will be stored into preset
buttons 1 to 6.
When the automatic memory has been completed, the tuner
goes to the default service of ensemble stored in preset location
No.1.
If [A.Memo] is not displayed, touch [<<] or [>>] in the bottom
banner to display [A.Memo].
If no ensemble are stored, the tuner will return to the original
ensemble you were listening to before the automatic storing
procedure began.
You can cancel this process by touching [A.Memo] while the tuner is
automatically seeking ensemble.
