HOW TO USE YOUR FOOD PROCESSOR
MIXING AND KNEADING (Figure 4)
• You can mix or knead up to 700 g of soup, dough or pastry by using the chopping or kneading
blade.
• Place the bowl over the drive shaft on the motor base and rotate the bowl anti-clockwise until it
locks into position. (Figure 3)
• Place the chopping or kneading blade into the drive shaft in the centre of the bowl. Put the
ingredients in the bowl.
• Place the bowl lid on top of the bowl. Rotate the lid anti-clockwise until the locking tabs slide
into the inner locking slot on the base and handle. (Figure 5)
• When kneading dough or pastry, don't first put water into the bowl. Pour the water through the
filling tube while the food processor is running. Add water or other liquid in a slow, steady
stream, only as fast as the dry ingredients absorb it. If liquid sloshes or splatters, stop adding
it but do not turn the processor off. Wait until the ingredients in the bowl have been mixed,
then add the liquid slowly. Refer to the notes on Applications and Procedures mentioned in
Table 1.
