• If you did NOT choose to require a quiz access password when
you created a quiz, you can enter one now that students must enter
before taking the quiz, or you can leave the field blank so that
students don’t need to enter a quiz access password. Setting a
password here will not change the options selected in the original quiz
file.
6. Click Send to send the quiz to the connected NEOs. The program will
show you messages as the quiz downloads.
7. Click Close (Windows) or OK (Macintosh) when the program notifies you
that the quiz has been sent.
8. Disconnect your NEOs (or have your students disconnect them). Your
students can now take the quiz.
Deleting Quizzes from NEOs
By following these steps, you can delete quizzes from connected NEOs. It’s a
good idea to delete older quizzes from NEOs before you send new ones since a
NEO can only store up to four quizzes.
Be sure to retrieve student responses for a quiz before you delete it
unless you do not want a record of the responses. To retrieve responses, see
page 9-35.
You may also want to delete quizzes if you have a different quiz you want
students to take instead. In that situation, you may not need to retrieve
responses before deleting an old quiz.
1. Connect your NEOs to the computer through a SmartOption Mobile Lab
and/or directly with a USB cable. In QuizManager, make sure your NEOs
are connected as shown by the indicators (see page 9-24).
