Exporting a Quiz from QuizDesigner to a Word

Processing Program

By following the steps below, you can export a quiz in a format that you can

use outside of AlphaQuiz, QuizDesigner, or QuizManager. The exported file

will be a text (.txt) file that you can bring into word processing programs.

1. Open the quiz that you want to export (see page 9-10).

2. With the quiz open, click the File menu and choose

Export. The Quiz Export Options window will open.

3. Check the items that you want to include in the

exported file. Then, click OK.

4. In the dialog box that opens, enter a name for the exported file

choose a location. (On Macintosh computers, you may need to click the

down arrow

B to see the full dialog box that lets you choose any

location.) Then, click Save.

The export options

are similar to the

ones you have when

you print a quiz. The blanks

for the student name and

class number are useful if you

plan to use this file to develop

a paper quiz. For paper quiz

files, be sure to leave out the

correct answers.
