Password Requirements for Quizzes
In the Quiz Options for any quiz, on the Advanced tab, you can choose to
require students to enter a quiz access password. You can also require them to
create their own student password for quiz answers. The table below explains
how each of these passwords is used.
KeyBoard Shortcuts in QuizDesigner
The following keyboard shortcuts give you a quick way to perform many of
the tasks in QuizDesigner. The table below also includes the equivalent menu
commands.

When a student first opens
the quiz, the student must
enter this password.
Only those
students who
have the quiz
access password
can open that
quiz.
In the Advanced Quiz
Options, check the box
labeled Require students
to enter quiz access
password and type the
password you want students
to use.
Student Password After the student types in
his or her first and last
name, the student must
create a password.
This password
prevents other
students from
seeing a student’s
quiz responses.
In the Advanced Quiz
Options, check the box
labeled Require students
to create a student
password for their quiz
answers.
