User Manual
Follow these steps to beam from a Palm OS device to a NEO:
1. Turn on the Palm OS device and from the Applications Launcher, start the
application that contains the item you want to send.
2. Turn on the NEO and open the file that you want to receive text into.
3. Make sure both devices are within three feet of each other and that the
infrared ports are facing each other.
4. On the Palm OS device, locate the item you want to send, tap the
appropriate area on the screen to activate the menus, and choose the
beaming option you want. The Palm OS device starts beaming the item
you specified.
5. On the NEO, press ctrl-B.
6. If the file you selected is empty, Beamer places the beamed file in the
empty file.
If the file isn’t empty, choose whether to overwrite the existing file or to
append the new file to it.
The beamed data should now be in the file you specified on the NEO.
