SS102A SS104 & SS106
Alpha Communications® model SS102A, SS104 and SS106 Class 1
(primary)/Class 2 (secondary) transformers offer compact, easy to
install low voltage AC power sources for use with various
Alpha Communications® intercom systems.
All three (3) models are U.L.® listed and will safely take
themselves off-line when overheated. The transformers are
constructed for easy installation in a standard 1/2" knockout, or
for surface mount installations, and may be used in plastic or metal
boxes.
Primary wire connections are made using the pre-stripped
pigtails and ground wire; secondary connections are made using
screw terminals. All models are for indoor use only.

Requirements
SS050 & SS100 SS250
Alpha Communications® model SS050, SS100 and SS250 Class 1
(primary)/Class 2 (secondary) transformers are heavy duty AC
power sources for use with various Alpha Communications®
intercom and annunciator systems. All three (3) models are U.L.®
listed. The transformers are designed for surface wall mounting and
are provided with built-in mounting holes. Primary wire connections
are made using pigtails; secondary connections are made using
screw terminals.

SS050:
120VAC primary 12VAC, 25VA, 24VAC, 50VA
secondary 4.0"W (102mm) x 3.5"H (89mm) x 5.5"D
(140mm) NOTE: Model# 88-Y50 is also available. It is
the same as the SS050 except with a 240VAC primary.
SS100:
120VAC primary 12VAC, 50VA, 24VAC, 100VA
secondary 4.0"W (102mm) x 3.5"H (89mm) x 6.0"D
(151mm). Model# 88-Y100 is also available. It is the
same as the SS100 except with a 240VAC primary.
SS250:
120VAC primary 4VAC, 40VA, 8VAC, 80VA, 12VAC,
125VA, 16VAC, 160VA, 20VAC, 200VA, 24VAC, 250VA

SS105B (shown) and T1640 Plug-in Transformers
Alpha Communications® model SS105B and T1640 Class 1 (primary)/Class 2 (secondary) plug-in transformers
were designed for quick and easy installation in applications where pigtail-type transformers are impractical or
unsightly. They are particularly suitable for use in home or office installations, or in areas where the transformer
must be exposed.
Both transformers can be secured to the electrical outlet with a set screw for secure installation, once plugged in
to the wall outlet. A built-in thermal fuse protects these transformers from overheating and igniting. Secondary
connections are made to convenient screw terminals. Both models are U.L. listed for class II (secondary) indoor
wiring, and are internally fused.
