The Alpha Communications® / TekTone SF501ES Single Button Call Pendant
Transmitter features the great range and reliability of 900 MHz in a small, water-
resistant package. Users can wear the pendant in the shower or bathtub, outside in
the rain, or other environments where the pendant may be splashed with water, or
momentarily submerged. A single-button design with "press and one second hold"
activation makes the pendant very easy to use, yet still reduces false alarms. When
the SF501ES is activated, it continues to send an alarm signal until its reset button,
located on the back, is pressed.
The SF501ES is especially suited for assisted living installations. Weighing only 1.4
ounces, it includes both a neck cord and a belt clip, and can easily be converted
by the end user. An optional model RP503 small (ladies) or RP504 large (mens)
wristband allows the pendant to be worn on the wrist or the arm.
The SF501ES features a fully supervised RF link to ensure reliability. The built-in LED
flashes with all transmissions, including supervision, so the user can see the
transmitter is still functioning. The battery is a field-replaceable long-life 3V lithium
type, and is included.

The wireless call pendant transmitter(s) shall be Alpha Communications® / TekTone SF501ES or approved equal. It shall use the 900 MHz
frequency for signal transmission, and shall include a transmission indicator LED. No physical wiring connections shall be required to transmit
a call. When activated, the SF501ES pendant shall continue to send an alarm signal until its reset button, located on the back, is pressed.
The SF501ES shall also include a neck chain, belt clip and a 3V lithium battery. The transmitter shall be no larger than 2.2" x 1.9" x 0.72" and
shall be lightweight enough to be worn comfortably. An optional model RP503 small (ladies) or RP504 large (men's) wristband can be utilized,
if resident wishes to wear the pendant on their wrist.
TekTone® has designed the Tek-CARE®500 (TC500) to work as a system. Its NC501ES Master Station Computer has been carefully
designed and matched to work with TC500 wireless and wired peripherals. TekTone® will not warrant or support components of TC500 that
are purchased separately unless the components are add-ons to previously sold systems. TekTone® will also not warrant or support a
system that is a mix of TekTone® and Non-TekTone® parts, unless prior written permission has been obtained. In order to track our
systems and to inform facilities of software upgrades, full site information (site name, address and phone number) will be required when
ordering. Site information and NC501ES warranty number will also be required when requesting technical support.
