Close battery breaker if open and check for secure battery
connection.
Battery breaker open or
loose battery connection
(BATTERY BREAKER
OPEN displays on the LCD).
ZTT/Plus does not transfer
from Normal to Standby
mode when tested.
Load-test batteries. Recharge or replace the batteries if
necessary
Battery charge is too low to
support CATV load, possibly
due to extended standby
operation or failed battery. A
clicking sound is often heard
with this condition.
Replace with a spare inverter module.Inverter inoperative.
Check the battery wiring for proper polarity. Reset the
battery breaker.
Battery breaker tripped.
No output to coax during
Standby mode.
Check all battery terminals for secure connections.
Loose battery cable

Disconnect output from coax and measure AC voltage on
the ZTT/Plus output connector. If okay, check the network
for a short circuit.
Short circuit on output
(OVERLOAD SHUTDOWN
displays on the LCD)
Replace the inverter.
Inverter not operating
(STANDBY MODE does not
appear on the LCD).
Close both breakers and check the power cord
connections. Also check the receptacle for AC voltage.
AC input disconnect breaker
or front panel input breaker

the ZTT/Plus output connector. If okay, check the network
for a short circuit.
Short circuit on output
(OVERLOAD SHUTDOWN
displays on the LCD)
Pullout the inverter module and check for AC output. If AC
output returns, replace the inverter. If AC output is still
absent, replace the ZTT/Plus chassis.
