NOTE: Read the safety instructions at the front of this manual prior to installing the
batteries.
CAUTION: Batteries shall be 12 Vdc with the same ampere rating. Do not mix old
and new batteries; replace as a set using recognized batteries.
Servicing of batteries shall be performed or supervised by personnel knowledgeable of batteries
and the required precautions Keep unauthorized personnel away from batteries.
Short circuit danger: do not rest tools or equipment on top of batteries Do not allow batteries to
short circuit; they may explode and cause severe injury. Do not open or mutilate the batteries.
Released electrolyte is extremely harmful to skin and eyes, and may be toxic. Do not dispose of
batteries in a fire, they may explode.
This product contains or emits chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and
birth defects or other reproductive harm. Battery post, terminals and related accessories
contain lead and lead compounds. Wash hands after handling. (California Proposition 65)
CAUTION: The following precautions shall be observed when working with
batteries.
Follow approved OSHA regulations for handling batteries.- Always wear eye protection and
a protective vest when working near batteries.
Batteries produce explosive gases. Keep away all sparks and flames.
Remove watches, rings, or other metal objects.
Use tools with insulated handles.
Wear rubber gloves and boots.
