EL516SE 15-Pushbutton Encoder Module
The Alpha Communications® / Golmar EL516SE 15 Pushbutton Encoder Module is a
compact, assembly that mounts into a variety of pushbutton type lobby/entry
stations, in order to convert the pushbutton type calling to a coded signal that is
recognized by the associated intercom and/or video-intercom stations.
The EL516SE mounts behind the pushbutton type lobby/entry station, and a
maximum of eight (8) of the EL516SE units can be used (for a maximum of 120
stations), per system.

Architects' And Engineers' Specifications
The 15-Pushbutton Encoder Module(s) shall be Alpha Communications® / Golmar EL516SE, or approved equal. Module(s) shall be mounted
inside the appropriate push button type video or intercom door entry station.
Module(s) shall be used to convert a standard pushbutton type door entry station to transmit an encoded call signal to be used with the
corresponding Golmar intercom and/ or video-intercom system.
A maximum of eight (8) of the EL516SE modules can be used to call a maximum of 120 apartment stations, per system.
The EL516SE module(s) shall have positive screw terminal and wiring harness connectors.
Contractor shall observe all local and national electrical and building codes.
