The 2-LED Corridor Zone/Dome Lights shall
be Alpha Communications® CDL102LED, or
approved equal. Lights shall include a
translucent plastic cover mounted on a
flame retardant ABS plastic panel.
The CDL102LED shall feature a single long-
life, high-brightness, pure White LED and a
single long-life, high-brightness, pure Red
LED, eliminating the need for costly bulb
changing, and shall operate on 24VAC OR
24VDC power.
The CDL102LED shall be U.L. 1069 listed, to
the latest standards. Units shall mount over
a conventional 1-gang or 2-gang electrical
back box or plaster ring.
Contractor shall observe all local and
national electrical and building codes.

The Alpha Communications® CDL102LED Corridor Dome Light (with single White LED and
single Red LED) provides visual indication of any type of call when used with a nurse-call,
emergency-call, or for stand-alone signaling applications. Unlike most LED type corridor
lights, the CDL102LED can operate on 24VAC OR 24VDC, and not just 24VDC.
When used with our AlphaLinQ™ 100 series nurse-call systems, the CDL102LED corridor
zone/dome light can be used as a 2-color Zone Light, or for special applications can be
used as a 2-color Dome Light. When used as a Zone Light, the CDL102LED White LED
indicates a Regular or Routine call priority, and the Red LED indicates an Emergency
priority. The CDL102LED can also be used with our AlphaEcall™ series and other
emergency-call and/or signaling system(s), even those from other manufacturers.
When used with our AlphaStatus™ series room status systems, the CDL102LED dome
light can be used to indicate two different color room status notifications.
The CDL102LED mounts on a standard 1 or 2-gang electrical back box and feature a
long-life, high brightness pure White LED, eliminating the need for costly bulb
replacements, and for maximum call indication.
