Specifications
The desk top back box(es) shall be Alpha
Communications®/Ring model BBD905 or
approved equal. The BBD905 shall be made of
steel and aluminum, and finished in a Black
vinyl texture. The BBD905 shall have
removable aluminum sides, enabling several
units to be ganged together, if required.
The BBD905 shall be able to be used either
horizontally or vertically, depending upon user
preference. The BBD905 shall be provided with
four (4) 7/16" peel and stick rubber feet, to
prevent marring of the table tip surface, and
to prevent slippage of the equipment.
Contractor shall observe all local and national
electrical and building codes.
BBD905 Desk Mount Steel/Aluminum Back Box
The Alpha Communications® model BBD905 is a back box designed for surface
mounting on a table or desk. Depending on personal preference, the BBD905 back box
can be used for either horizontal or vertical mounting of various Ring stations and/or
apparatus.
Two (2) one-half inch electrical knockouts are provided for various mounting positions.
The BBD905 is painted in a Black vinyl texture to resist marring. Removable aluminum
side panels allow for ganging multiple boxes together. The side panels are made of 1/8"
(.125") aluminum and are screwed to the housing, which is 18 gauge (.047"), spot
welded construction, cold rolled steel.
The BBD905 comes with four (4) 7/16" peel and stick rubber feet, to prevent marring of
the table tip surface, and to prevent slippage of the equipment.
