Installing Memory SIMMs
The AM-7000 supports a minimum of 32MB and a maximum of 512MB of main memory.
Memory is implemented as paired SIMM modules (of equal capacity) of 16MB, 32MB, 64MB, or
128MB each. Use 60ns EDO SIMMs only; 70ns SIMMs will not work. The following table
shows the allowable memory SIMM configurations:
