The hands-free type IP audio intercom
station(s) shall be Alpha
Communications® / Golmar A500, or
approved equal. Station(s) shall be
mounted surface (or desk mount using
optional #SOB-UNI desk
adapter). Station(s) shall be connected
using a standard RJ45 connector and LAN
wiring. Station(s) shall feature electret
condenser microphone for exceptional full
duplex digital voice fidelity.
Station shall include a programmable
function push button. Station shall
feature an electronic calling signal and
shall only protrude from the wall 0.55"
inches (14mm). Station(s) shall include
the ability for resident's to place a call to
the model M201/C concierge station,
where needed.
Contractor shall observe all local and
national electrical and building codes.

The Alpha Communications® A500 audio unit uses the IP Plus technology from Golmar to
provide the most advanced intercom system available, for any size building, with any
number of audio intercom stations, video-intercom monitors, door stations, and remote
cameras.
The A500 is a full IP solution for the communication in luxury homes, multi-familuy
residential buildings, condominiums and commercial office buildings.
Thanks to its technology and Peer2Peer facilities the A500 units do not require any server
for the installation.
The communication protocol is UDP/IP which makes it possible to be connected to a LAN
together with other IP devices in the same installation. The system never becomes "busy"
thanks to the multi-channel feature. In addition, these stations feature full duplex audio
communications.
These attractive stations are conveniently surface mounted right on the wall and are only
0.55" deep! Due to its advanced design and TCP/IP protocol, the A500 does not require any
servers, power supplies, switchers, boosters, audio distributors, and requires simply a LAN
connection and the PoE switch(es).
