3.5 PAD SHEAR Magnetic Switch and Water Intrusion Float, contd.
Cut wires to tamper switch sensor.
Use Phillips screwdriver to remove old
switch.
Remove the mounting nuts which
hold the water intrusion float to the
bracket. Replace float and verify the
magnet can slide freely up the
mounting post, and that it rests
against the retaining clip at the
bottom of the mounting post.
Replace magnetic tamper switch
with Phillips screwdriver.
Splice switch wires to original wire
harness. Replace the mounting
bracket to its original position on the
APU housing.
