本製品に内蔵されているワイヤレス

モジュールは、電波法
に基づく小電力データ通信の無線設備として認証を受けていま
す。また、本製品は電気通信事業法に基づく技術適合認証を受
けています。分解や改造を行うと、法律で罰せられる可能性が

振り回さない
人やガラスなどに当たってけがをすることがあります。
お子さまの手の届かない場所に設置してください
はずれた部分を飲み込むなど、思わぬ事故の原因になり危険
です。
満員電車の中など混雑した場所では本機を使用しない
付近に心臓ペースメーカーを装着されている方がいる可能性の
ある場所では、電波によりペースメーカーの動作に影響を与え
るおそれがあります。

コネクターはきちんと接続する

コネクターの内部に金属片を入れないでください。ピンとピ
ンがショート（短絡）して、火災や故障の原因となることがあ
ります。

コネクターはまっすぐに差し込んで接続してください。斜め
に差し込むと、ピンとピンがショートして、火災や故障の原
因となることがあります。
ぬれた手でさわらない
感電の原因となることがあります。
落下の危険性がある場所に設置しない
本棚の上などの高い場所に設置すると、落下して、故障や思わ
ぬ事故の原因になる可能性があります。

特に、ホームテレホンやビジネスホンの回線には、絶対に接続

電波障害自主規制について

Safety Information
WARNING

Do not touch the Wireless Router or accessories during thunderstorms.

Do not place the Wireless Router in a location subject to:

In the following circumstances, set the power to off and have the
Wireless Router checked by qualified personnel before continuing its

 Water or a foreign object has entered the Wireless Router.
 Smoke is coming out of the Wireless Router.
 There is an unusual noise or smell.
 The Wireless Router is dropped or the exterior of the Wireless Router
has broken.

Do not cover the Wireless Router with objects such as magazines or
newspapers or use it in confined, enclosed places, such as the spaces
between walls and furniture. Furthermore, do not turn the Wireless
Router on its side while using it. Either situation could cause heat to
build up inside the Wireless Router, leading to overheating and possible
fire.

Do not swing the Router Unit, Wireless Unit, or AC adapter. Injury could
result if they strike a person or fragile material, such as glass.

Keep the Wireless Router out of the reach of children. Unforeseen injury
could result from swallowing loose parts, etc.

Do not use the Wireless Router in a crowded place like in a crowded
train considering people using pacemakers nearby. Electric waves may

If using the Wireless Router near a pacemaker, make sure it is at least
22cm (8.7inches) away from the pacemaker.

Do not use the Wireless Router on hospital premises. Doing so may

Do not install at a location where the Wireless Unit or Router Unit could
fall as a result of shock or vibration, such as on the edge of a shelf.

ISDN and telephone lines cannot be connected to the LAN connector of
the Router Unit. If the connector is connected to the network or
telephone lines mentioned below, high electric current to the connector
may cause damage, overheating, or fire.
Connecting to home or business-use telephone lines is strictly
prohibited.

Use only the supplied AC adapter with your Sony Wireless Router. To
disconnect your Wireless Router from the power supply, unplug the AC
adapter.

The Wireless Unit is designed for home use and small office use in a
broadband environment. The Wireless Unit may not work properly if
used in a physically or logically huge network, in an unusual
environment or for an uncommon purpose.

When the batteries have run out, or when you intend to not use the
Wireless Router over a prolonged period, unplug the AC adapter.

Do not place this device on an unstable surface such as on a wobbling
stand or on a tilted surface. The device may fall, which causes an injury.

WPS button
Press and hold the WPS button for 3 seconds or more, and WIRELESS LED
starts flashing.
Make sure WIRELESS LED is flashing, and then release the button. The WPS
connection will be available.

When connecting the Wireless Router to multiple wireless devices, you
cannot use WPS.

Pressing the WPS button for 10 seconds or more changes settings back
to the default.
Connections
Turing the power of the Wireless Router
Connect the Wireless Router to a LAN connector or broadband modem
where you stay like in a hotel room.
1 Connect the LAN connector of the Wireless Router using an
Ethernet cable.
2 Connect the Wireless Router to a designated AC adapter to
connect to the wall outlet (wall socket).
Wait until the 3 LED lights up. (illustration)
3 Open the Network Configuration on your VAIO.
Place the pointer on the upper-right corner of the screen to display
the charm. Move the pointer downward and click the [Settings]
charm to display the setup screen, and then click (the network
icon).
4 On the displayed wireless device list, click the SSID (network
name) of the Wireless Router.
The SSID is on the label on the bottom surface of the Wireless Router.
5 Click [Connection].
6 In the case shown in illustration -: Press and hold the WPS
button (for about 3 seconds) until the WIRELESS LED button
flashes.
In the case shown in illustration -: Enter the KEY (13 digits)
on the label on the bottom surface of the Wireless Router.
In the case shown in illustration -: Enter the PIN (8 digits) on
the label on the bottom surface of the Wireless Router.
7 Open the Network Configuration again to make sure that the
wireless connection is established.
8 Open any website in your Web browser to make sure that the
internet connection is established.
Authentication may be required to connect to the internet depending
on the place you stay.
Changing the internet connection settings and
configuring advanced settings
Access the settings page of the Wireless Router in your Web browser.
1 Make sure that the wireless connection from your VAIO to the
Wireless Router is established.
2 Start up the Web browser, and then enter http://VGP-WAR100/
3 Enter the following information, and then press the Login button.
Password: admin

Use the Web browser pre-installed on your VAIO.

Keep the Wireless Router out of the reach of children. Unforeseen injury

Do not use the Wireless Router in a crowded place like in a crowded
train considering people using pacemakers nearby. Electric waves may
cause negative effects on pacemakers.

If using the Wireless Router near a pacemaker, make sure it is at least
22cm (8.7inches) away from the pacemaker.

Do not use the Wireless Router on hospital premises. Doing so may

the Router Unit. If the connector is connected to the network or
telephone lines mentioned below, high electric current to the connector

used in a physically or logically huge network, in an unusual
environment or for an uncommon purpose.

When the batteries have run out, or when you intend to not use the
Wireless Router over a prolonged period, unplug the AC adapter.
