Choosing a Setup Option
Use this screen to set up a new router and install other WD software.
Setting Up a New Router (Windows)
The Easy Setup wizard guides you through the process of installing the router in your home
network, checks your connections, and prompts you to set up security.
1. On the Choose your setup option screen, click
Set up a new router. A screen

2. Confirm that your router is connected properly and click Confirm. (For more detailed
connection instructions, see “Installing the Router” on page 13).
3. Follow the instructions in the EasySetup wizard. SCREEN
4. On the final screen (Setup Complete), click Finish. Continue with “Installing Additional
WD Software” on page 12”.
