Glossary
Setting Description
Action Set to Allow or Deny traffic matching the IP address and/or
ports configured.
Active Status of MAC filtering.
Computer Name Name assigned to the computer for easier identification.
Select the computer name to set it for DMZ access.
Destination Destination IP Address on the local network (LAN) or Internet
(WAN).
Destination IP Range Range of IP addresses where the traffic is sent.
Device location From the drop-down list, select the region where the router is
located:
•USA
• EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa)
• APAC (Asia Pacific)
Device name Name assigned to the computer or device on the network.
DHCP Client List Computers and devices that are currently connected to your
router.
DMZ IP Address If DMZ is enabled, select the IP address of the computer in
the DMZ.
Enable DMZ Toggle the button to On to enable DMZ.
Gateway Combined hardware and software that connect two or more
networks, converting protocols as necessary.
Interface
MAC Address Unique identifier that the manufacturer assigns to a device.
MAC Filtering Rules From the drop-down list, select the rule to apply to the filter,
which should allow or deny network/Internet access.
Name Name to identify the firewall rule.
Netmask Internet protocol that filters certain values to distinguish
between the subnetwork address and the host address so a
router forwards packets correctly in a network.
Port Range Network traffic port range that will be applied in the firewall
rule.
Protocol Protocol that will be applied in the firewall rule. Available
options are All, TCP, UDP and ICMP???.
Schedule ?
Source Source IP Address on the local network (LAN) or Internet
(WAN).
Source IP Range Range of IP addresses where the traffic is initiated.
