You can assign passwords to disk accounts. If the account you enter has a password,
AMOS asks you for the password before logging you in.
Once you’re logged on to the system, you can use LOG to switch to a different account.
You don’t need to enter your user name again, just the account you want. For example:
LOG [36,14]
RETURN
If the account has a password assigned, you are asked for the password before you
transfer to the account.
The account number list for each device on your system is separate, so you may have
duplicate account numbers on different disks. Therefore, to completely specify what
account you want, you may need to enter both the device and account number. For
example:
LOG DSK0:[7,12]
RETURN
You only have to enter the device name if the same account exists on more than one
device. If the account you enter does not exist, you see a message on your screen indi-
cating you’ve typed an invalid account number.
