How heat pumps work
Heat pumps operate on the same principle as a
refrigerator: same technology, only with reversed
benets. The refrigerator draws heat from food. which is
released into the room through ns on the back.
The heat pump draws heat from our environment: air,
earth or ground water. The extracted heat is conditioned
in the unit and supplied to the heating water. Even when
it is extremely cold outside, the heat pump draws
enough heat to heat a house.
