Care & Maintenance and Useful Tips
To clean, use a non-abrasive, all-purpose cleaner with paper towels or a clean cloth
Do NOT use cleaning products that contain bleach, strong chemical detergents, abrasive cleaners or scouring pads
Hanging pictures – fasteners must go through the planks into the substrate or wall studs
The use of longer screws may be necessary when replacing electrical outlets and switch covers
NOTE: Textured surfaces (e.g. orange peel) may require sanding to ensure proper adhesion of Light Solidity
by way of the
pre-attached, self-stick tape. If uncertain, test adhesion in an inconspicuous area before proceeding with the remainder of the
installation.
CAUTION: Scraping, sanding, or removing old paint can cause the release of toxic lead-dust. If you are unsure of the age or type
of paint, contact the National Lead Information Hotline at 1-800-424-LEAD or log onto www.epa.gov/lead.
Preventive Maintenance
Avoid contact with moisture & high-heat sources
