Introduction
Light Solidity
Decorative Planks are unique, decorative, wood-look vinyl planks designed for interior walls and ceilings. Strong, lightweight
and flexible, Light Solidity
is easy to install, as each plank comes with pre-attached, self-stick, super-grip tape that's made in the USA.

Decorative Planks as accent-walls, wainscoting, interior columns, around island or peninsula cabinets, headboards,
ceilings and much more. Let your imagination be your inspiration.
Safety Information
Power tools are not required to cut Light Solidity
planks. However, those who prefer the use of power tools (e.g. electric saws) should
wear the proper safety equipment. Such equipment includes: safety glasses, dust mask and gloves.
Pre-Installation Information
Tools required:
Utility knife with several new blades
Tape measure
• Square
Chalk line
• Pencil
J Roller (a roller)
Install in interior, temperature-controlled environments only!
Do not install in saunas, showers or tub surrounds,
sunrooms, seasonal porches, and all exterior installations
Acclimate product for 24-48 hours at room temperature
of 60°F to 85°F (15°C to 30°C). HVAC system should be
operational before, during and after installation
Store product horizontally in a dry area away from direct
sunlight or heating and cooling ducts. Do not remove planks
from cartons during storage or acclimation
Post installation temperature ranges must be maintained
between 50°F to 95°F (10°C to 35°C)
Pre-attached, self-stick tape requires 24-48 hours to achieve
full bond once planks have been installed
Approved substrates:
Ceramic tile
Concrete (smooth)
Plywood – smooth, no knots
Sheetrock – unpainted or painted (latex paint or primer)
Textured surfaces (e.g. orange peel, see note on page 3)
Wall paper (paper or vinyl) in good condition and fully
adhered to wall with no peeling. Remove wall paper in bad
condition
Non-approved substrates:
• Brick
• Cinderblock
OSB (Oriented Strand Board)
Popcorn ceilings
Rough concrete
Prepping for installation:
Remove any electrical switches, outlet plates and light
fixtures that may interfere with the installation
Remove ceiling and base board trim (if desired)
Fill voids with spackle/joint compound; honor
manufacturer's recommended drying times before
proceeding with installation
Surfaces must be smooth, clean, dry, and free of any dust,
excess mortar (on brick or cinderblock), and foreign matter.
Remove dirt, dust, oils and loose paint. For best results, the
substrate should be as smooth as possible. If necessary,
clean the surface with a 50/50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol
and water. Then, dry with a lint-free cloth
