1.0 REPORT PURPOSE AND SCOPE
Purpose:
The purpose of this evaluation report supplement is to indicate that Allura
™
Fiber Cement lap siding, vertical panel siding,
soffit panels and shapes siding, recognized in ICC-ES master evaluation report ESR-1668, have also been evaluated for
compliance with the codes noted below.

2010 Florida Building Code—Residential
2.0 CONCLUSIONS
The Allura
™
products, described in Sections 2.0 through 7.0 of the master evaluation report ESR-1668, comply with the 2010
Florida Building Code—Building and the 2010 Florida Building Code—Residential, provided the design and installation are in
accordance with the International Building Code
®
provisions noted in the master report and the following conditions apply.
• Design wind loads must be based on Section 1609 of the 2010 Florida Building Code—Building or Section 301.2.1.1 of
the 2010 Florida Building Code—Residential, as applicable.
• Load combinations must be in accordance with Section 1605.2 or Section 1605.3 of the 2010 Florida Building Code—
Building, as applicable.
• Siding attachment must meet the requirements of Section R703.4 of the 2010 Florida Building Code—Residential, where
applicable.
Use of the Allura
™
for compliance with the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone provisions of the 2010 Florida Building Code—
Building and the 2010 Florida Building Code—Residential has not been evaluated, and is outside the scope of this
supplemental report.
For products falling under Florida Rule 9N-3, verification that the report holder’s quality assurance program is audited by a
quality assurance entity approved by the Florida Building Commission for the type of inspections being conducted is the
responsibility of an approved validation entity (or the code official when the report holder does not possess an approval by
the Commission).
This supplement expires concurrently with the master report, reissued October 2017.
