The ScanX is a completely portable system that can be located anywhere a
grounded electric Mains AC outlet and a compliant laptop computer running
the authorize software is availble. Follow these guidelines for optimum perfor-
mance:
Lighting conditions: Set up the scanner in ordinary room light, however,
direct sunlight and light fixture(s) above and near the ScanX producing
more than 400 lux of light at the PSP inlet must be avoided.
Provide a stable, flat countertop large enough to hold the scanner, plus
provide a working area for resting and opening cassettes.
Locate the computer within 6 feet.
Access to a grounded electric Mains AC outlet using the line cord provided,
must be within line cord length. The ScanX is equipped with a line cord
matching Mains outlet of country of intended use.
Cover the ScanX with the supplied dust cover when it is not in use.
