We recommend to use GSM format sound file for uploading as the file size is usually smaller
than the other compatible format.
4.11. IVR
IVR (Interactive Voice Response) is a pre-recorded interactive operator defined by a
sequence of actions that provides a customer with a better call experience. An IVR can be
‘chained’ with other IVR’s creating a multi-level IVR system.
Example:
“Welcome to ALLO PVT LTD! If you know your party’s extension, please dial it now.
Press 1 for Customer Service
Press 2 for Billing
Press 3 for Shipping”
Navigation: Setup Æ IVR, User could Setup, Edit and Delete an IVR.
IVR Configuration Parameters
Name Configure the name of the IVR
Extension Enter the extension number for users to access the IVR.
Allow Dialing Other
Extension
If enabled, all callers to the IVR can dial other extensions. The
default setting is "No".
Actions A sequence of actions performed when call enters the IVR
Add new Step Select the IVR steps as per the requirement
Allow Key press Events Select the event for each key pressing for 0-9, *Thee event
options are:
• Extension
• Voicemail
