4.3. Trunks
Navigation: Setup >Trunks > Analog Trunks: Here you can configure the Analog Trunks.
4.3.1. Analog Trunks
The analog trunk options are listed in the table below.
Analog Trunks
Channels Select the channel for the analog trunk.
Trunk Name Specify a unique label to identify the trunk when listed in
outbound rules, incoming rules and etc.
Fax Detect Configure a Fax extension where incoming Fax will be
detected and received.
4.3.2. VOIP Trunks
Navigation: Setup > Trunks > VOIP Trunks: This is where you setup VoIP Trunk, or
manage existing ones.
In this page, fill in the Provider Name, Host name, Host Port, Username, Password and
Proxy information given to you by your VoIP provider (known as SIP Credentials). Apply any
Codec Settings required. You can prioritize your active codec’s by using the drop down
buttons.
After you have entered the details, click the Save button at the bottom.
4.3.3. Adding a New VoIP Account Details
Create New SIP trunk
Context Naming You can select the context naming based on
username/Provider name/Assigned by asterisk GUI. By
Default: Based on Username
Provider Name Configure a unique label to identify this trunk when listed in
outbound rules, inbound rules and etc.
