4.4.1 Create a Call Queue
By clicking on the ADVANCED > QUEUES > Create a New Call Queue link on the left side
navigation of the MegaPBX menu, we reach this section:
Queue Name: Each queue can be assigned a name that is used for display purposes only.
Strategy: we can use different ring settings to determine the call flow of the queue. The ring
strategy supports multiple settings including ring all, round robin, least recent, fewest calls,
random, and round robin with memory
a. Ring All: Rings all available extensions
b. Round Robin: Takes turns ringing each available extension
c. Least Recent: Rings the extension which was least recently called by this queue
d. Fewest Calls: Rings the extension with fewest complete calls from this queue
e. Random: Rings a random extension
f. Round Robin Memory: Performs a Round Robin remembering where we left off with the
last ring pass
Description: Specify the proper description for the call queue
Queue Length: The maximum number of callers waiting in queue for an available extension
Queue Members: This setting allows you to select the extension to be part of Call Queue
Frequency: This setting adjusts the frequency to announce the caller's queue position.
Play with Sound: This setting allows in selecting the Voice file, when caller is in Queue
Queue Time Out: Select the required seconds so that the queue will get terminated after the
given seconds
Member Time Out: This sets the amount of time an agent's extension can ring before the
system considers it a timeout.
