Installing hardware

Configure: Manually
Speed: 1000baseT
Duplex: full-duplex
MTU: Jumbo (9000)
Adjust buffers and moderation rate

– Start, Control Panel
– Hardware and Sound
– Device Manager
– Network Adapter
– Right-click Adapter device name
–Properties
– Advanced tab
–Performance Options
– Settings: Interrupt Moderation Rate
Value: Extreme
– Settings: Transmit Buffers
Value: 256 bytes
– Settings: Receive Buffers
Value: Max allowable

Support for buffer size control and moderation rate settings varies greatly
between network card driver providers.
