If you are installing a coaxial cable segment without a BNC-T connector at
the end (as shown in Figure 32), you must enable the termination of the
port by turning the 50 Ω termination switch ON (1).
Port Status Indicators
The port status indicators on the AT-TS08 hubs’ front panels provide
visual diagnostic and activity information for network analysis. The
indicators are either an individual port LED or a central indicator for box
level monitoring.

Port Indicators
Each 10BASE2 port supports the following indicator functions with two
single-color front panel LEDs per port, shown in Figure 33 below:
ON LINE (Steady Green)— Indicates that the port is not partitioned.
RECEIVE (Flashing Amber)— Indicates that the port is receiving
Ethernet packets.
