Hardware Installation

You can combine any TurboStack hub model type with any of the six

network port appliqués listed in Table 3.

Note

In swapping appliqués, it is advisable to turn off power to the hub since you

will be loosening screws and installing metal parts through the appliqué

port. Loose metal parts can cause damage to the circuit boards and

components.

External

Transceivers

Another option is to conﬁgure the AUI network port for other media by

using an external transceiver. Table 4 lists the ATI micro transceivers

available for this purpose.
