Some documentation provided in printed form in your Solaris kit is also available as
PostScript files on the SMCC Supplement CD in the following directory:
The following documentation is provided as PostScript files:
■ “Supported Hardware” module from the Information Library
■ “Vendor Value-Added Software” module from the Information Library
■ SMCC Hardware Platform Guide Solaris 2.6
The Docs directory contains the English PostScript files as well as directories for
files for the following European locales: de, es, fr, it, sv.
Note – The instructions for accessing these PostScript files published in the
Information Library are incorrect. Do not use the pkgadd command to install or access
the files in the Docs directory.

The docs.sun.com
SM
web site allows you to access Sun's technical documentation
archive online. As of the Solaris 2.6 release, docs.sun provides all 2.6 documentation,
as well as a large collection of older documentation: software and hardware. This
collection will continue to expand to include non-English documentation. At the
docs.sun.com web site, you can use Sun's online AnswerBook2 search capabilities
to find documentation and view the book’s complete text.
