PCI Systems
PCI systems conform to specific standards for serial port operation.
All standard asynchronous data rates are supported up to 460.8-Kbytes/second. See
listed standards for other restrictions.
All standard synchronous data rates are supported up to 384-Kbytes/second with
external clocks (using a synchronous modem), and supported up to 256-Kbytes/
second when used in loopback mode (using a null-modem cable). See listed
standards for other restrictions.
Power Management — Invoking Screen
Saver
Using the Common Desktop Environment (CDE)
If you are using CDE, your monitor is power managed if the screen saver is enabled
and the screen pattern is set to Blank Screen only. Also, if the Screen Lock is enabled
(with Screen Saver and Blank Screen pattern only), monitors are power managed.
Using OpenWindows
If you are running OpenWindows, your monitor is power managed if the screen
saver is enabled. In any other case the monitors are not power managed.
Note – The screen setting in the power.conf(4) file affects display power
management only when the X server (window system) is not running.
