You can access the switch’s management software four ways:
# RS-232 Terminal Port
# Web Browser
# Telnet Application Protocol
# SNMP management program
RS-232 Terminal Port
One method for accessing the management software is by connecting a
terminal or a PC with a terminal emulation program to the RS-232
Terminal Port on the switch. This is commonly referred to as local or out-
of-band management. (Refer to Figure 13.)

Once the session is established, the management software’s main menu
is displayed on the terminal’s screen, as shown in Figure 13.
