Description

The fiber optic ports on the AT-8016F/MT and AT-8016F/SC Switches

have two LEDs, labeled L/A and D/C. The LEDs are defined in Table 3.

Note

The AT-8016F/MT and AT-8016F/SC Switches do not have a LED

Mode Select Button.

Table 3 AT-8016F/MT and AT-8016F/SC Fiber Optic Port LEDs

LED State Description

L/A OFF Indicates that there is no link between the port

and the end node.

Solid Green Indicates a valid link has been established

between the port and the end node.

Flashing Green Indicates that the port is transmitting and/or

receiving data packets.

D/C Solid Green Indicates that the port is operating in full-duplex

mode.

Solid Amber Indicates that the port is operating in half-duplex

mode.

Flashing Amber Indicates that data collisions are occurring on the

port.
