Standards Compliance
The ATI implementation of LAN Emulation (LANE) services is compliant
with the following existing standards:
❑ ATM Forum LAN Emulation specification version 1.0
❑ ATM Forum UNI specification version 3.0
Note that a full discussion of the interactive components of LANE can be
found in Appendix B, LAN Emulation.
ATI’s AT-4016TR, AT-4016F and AT-TS95TR also implement the following
services to a connection oriented network:
❑ Simple Network Management Protocol
❑ Spanning Tree Protocol 802.1d
❑ Data encapsulation and transmission
❑ Address resolution
❑ Multicast group management
