2.26.7 Loss of Link (LOL)
Message Port Fault Set
Severity Info
Explanation Essentially the same as LOS. The only difference between the two is
that LOS is preceded by a “last gasp” message where LOL does not.
The connections or far-end equipment could be at fault.
Action Perform the following:
1. Verify connections.
2. Verify far-end equipment.
3. Disable/enable port.

Explanation The port is no longer receiving a signal from the far end equipment.
The connections or far-end equipment could be at fault.
Action Perform the following:
1. Verify sync source.
